To avoid confusion - the original show went from 1986-1991. In 1993, it was revived for 1 more season under a new name "R.F.D.S." -- Last edit: 2016-06-06 22:23:54 |

Do you have a source to back this up? |

End date of this show is 1993. The show was known as "R.F.D.S." in it's final year. -- Last edit: 2016-06-15 14:15:27 |

R.F.D.S has a separate page on IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0156232/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1 |

@Sandie - well, that might be the case, but Crawfords, the company that produced the show, call RFDS the "tenth season" of Flying Doctors, in their complete DVD set: http://crawfordsdvd.com.au/dvd-box-sets/the-flying-doctors-complete-series/ Also, in the intro to the show in season 10, it still says "The Flying Doctors" at the beginning. "Season 10" was originally shown in Australia as "R.F.D.S" - it was a "reboot", set five years after the last episode of "Flying Doctors", in Broken Hill instead of "Coopers Crossing". It was shown overseas as "Flying Doctors", and the Crawfords DVD's use the overseas opening credits. Here are the original Australian opening credits, as recorded off-air by me on the series debut run in 1993: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rvDUQp1rXKw |
